He is a clinical psychiatrist who has studied the impact and resolution of trauma on children and adults since 1982. He is professor of psychiatry at Boston University School of Medicine and medical director of the Trauma Center in Boston. He is author of Psychological Trauma and coeditor of Traumatic Stress.
Dana Moore and Jim Hopper Jim Hopper PhD is a researcher and therapist with a doctorate in clinical psychology, and a Clinical Instructor in Psychology at Harvard Medical School. He as studied the effects of child abuse and other traumas. Jim received specialized post-doctoral training in the treatment of psychological trauma at The Trauma Center of Dr. Bessel van der Kolk, which has an internationally recognized clinic and training program.
