This year's Tour de Acoma is Sunday, September 17th. Big thank you to the Acoma and Laguna tribes for closing the course to car traffic and arranging for tribal police to patrol the route. On Sunday hundreds of riders will wake up early and prepare themselves for an epic bike ride through sacred Native People's land that is usually prohibited to non-tribal members. The air will be crisp and cool. The sunlight will be clear and bright. The sky will be deep blue and the earth boasting shades of brown, green, and red. Riders can choose a 20, 50 or 100 mile route through this land of enchantment. This is a top-tier cycling event you will never forget.
