10 days driving my 2007 Honda Element, Real-Time 4WD SUV with my 2015 Volagi Liscio bicycle in the back. I travelled from Santa Fe to Calgary to Walla Walla Washington with overnights in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Cranbrook British Colombia, Canada, and Price Utah. I went for bike rides in Salida, Colorado; Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Gran Teton National Park; Cranbrook Rails to Trails; and Moab, Arches National Park. I enjoyed riding in these locations to satisfy my desire to venture into unknown lands while enjoying the natural beauty and maintaining my health. These three are why I ride: adventure, beauty, health.
PLEASE: click LIKE and TWEET This year's Tour de Acoma is Sunday, September 17th. Big thank you to the Acoma and Laguna tribes for closing the course to car traffic and arranging for tribal police to patrol the route. On Sunday hundreds of riders will wake up early and prepare themselves for an epic bike ride through sacred Native People's land that is usually prohibited to non-tribal members. The air will be crisp and cool. The sunlight will be clear and bright. The sky will be deep blue and the earth boasting shades of brown, green, and red. Riders can choose a 20, 50 or 100 mile route through this land of enchantment. This is a top-tier cycling event you will never forget. There is still time to register: https://www.tourdeacoma.com/new.html
